The office of elder is given in Scripture to provide spiritual nurture and protection for the church. Elders are to shepherd the flock of Jesus Christ through the faithful ministry of the Word and prayer, and are to lead by godly example.

Austin joined the Grace Point staff in 2025. He has over five years of student ministry experience and holds a Youth Ministry degree from Moody Bible Institute. While attending Moody, he met his wife, Abbi. Since graduating from Moody, they have had two children, Luke and Brooklyn. Austin is passionate about helping students know God and discover their purpose in life. In his free time, he enjoys making and drinking coffee, playing on hi5, and watching his Michigan (GO Blue!) and Detroit Sports Teams compete.

Caleb holds a Bachelor of Arts in Worship Ministry from Cedarville University. He is passionate about taking people to the next step in their faith and in their skills as musicians. He enjoys leading weekend services, but also finds joy in smaller group development as well as being behind the scenes, encouraging others to use their gifts and talents. Caleb is married to his amazing wife, Dianna. They have 2 children- Emmitt & Ellianna.


David and his wife Carol have attended Grace Point since Easter Sunday, 2018 and became members in 2019. They both decided that they wanted to join this church and serve here. Both have served on music/worship teams and have led a Life Group. It is David’s desire to serve Jesus and His church. David and Carol live in Adrian, MI. They have 2 adult children who are both married, and between them have provided 8 grandchildren, all in San Antonio, TX. David is officially retired but still works as a real estate agent with Heart O’ The Hills Realty in Adrian. David’s many interests include family, reading, sports, helping others and home improvement projects.


Jeff serves as our Lead Pastor at Grace Point. Before becoming our Lead Pastor, Jeff also served as our Executive Pastor for 5 years. He holds a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Leadership from Dallas Theological Seminary. Prior to seminary and full-time ministry, Jeff had a career in corporate real estate for 17 years. Jeff comes to Grace Point with a passion to disciple, equip, and empower God’s people for the work of ministry, both inside and outside the church. Jeff and Tamra have three grown children – Jenna, Laura, Jake, and daughter-in-law, Kirsten.

Jeff and his wife Julia have attended Grace Point since 2008 and became members in 2009. Jeff is part of the teaching team for Sunday Morning Adult Education and has previously served as an Elder. Jeff is semi-retired and Julia is the School Counselor at Springbrook Middle school. Jeff and Julia live in Manitou Beach and have 4 adult children, Jalyn - 27, Sky (Dutch) - 24, Grant – 22, and Jill - 20.

Jerry and his wife Becki are a team in serving the Lord. They have attended Grace Point since 2013, becoming members soon after that. Jerry serves on the worship team, leads the Mission Team, and with Becki leads a Life Group, and co-directs the actors in Christmas Caravan. He has served on the Deacon Board and the Elder Board. Jerry teaches Middle School and High School English at Lenawee Christian School and does Road Testing for Quality Road Testing. Jerry and Becki have seven kids: Isaac, Zach, Josh, Sisney, Kitty, Zoee, and Nancy.

Jeff and his wife, Nicole, joined Grace Point in 2012. He has been a part of both the deacon and elder teams previously, most recently serving as an elder from 2017-2020. He and Nicole live and work in Adrian and have five children.

Jeff Tyson joined the staff at Grace Point in 2025 after serving for the last 17 years in several roles in higher education and non profit leadership. Jeff, his wife Ruth, and three children have attended Grace Point since 2014 serving in a variety of roles. Jeff appreciates Grace Point’s commitment to making and growing disciples of Jesus Christ. In his spare time, you will find Jeff hanging out with his family, working on house projects, or camping.
