Worship is our response to the greatness of God
Worship is an act of surrender and self-sacrifice ; it is a conscious decision of acknowledging who God is and what He has done; and it is an outflow of the heart, in spirit and truth, over some outward act done in church. In every aspect of our lives, we can worship God.
What’s your default station or playlist? Choose music that honors God—Christian and worship songs can shape your family’s heart. Play them often in the car and at home.
Worship Playlist Challenge: Let every family member add 3 worship songs to a shared playlist. Play it on the way to school or during dinner prep.
When you pray aloud, do your teens hear faith or anxiety? Make time to thank and praise God—show them what trusting prayer sounds like.
Talk to your teens about what you’re reading in God’s Word. Be honest about your questions and what you’re thankful for. Let them see real faith in action.
Don’t worry about singing perfectly—just worship sincerely. Let your teens see you engage in church worship, even if it feels awkward. Passion matters more than polish.
