Missions

Grace Point has a long, rich, and growing commitment to joining God's work throughout the world. We are blessed to support missionaries here in the U.S. and across the world, to encourage church planting efforts here in the U.S., and to educate our own people in missions so that we may be even more effective.

We define Missions to be any endeavor outside the local congregation to fulfill The Great Commission. Our aim is to communicate the gospel of Jesus Christ, make disciples, and gather these disciples into local congregations. All missionaries and organizations we support must have evangelism and discipleship as their ultimate objective. While supportive of local and home missions, we strive to direct at least 75% of our annual missions budget to foreign ministries.

Each year our mission’s budget is assembled by the Missions Leadership Team and presented by the elders to the membership for approval.  This process follows an annual fall missions emphasis at which time faith promise commitments are made by the congregation for the coming year. Currently we support over 20 different missions locally and around the world.
